Traditional Mexican, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian tiles were everywhere; the English craft tiles movement was very much in its infancy and there were very few innovative tiles available. Passionate about tile design, we were determined to change this and set about taking the centuries-old art of ceramic hand-painting and making it more appealing to modern-day home owners.
